EastlakeEastlake: Add Eastlake in to the long list of “up and coming,” but put it at the very top! Most residences here were built after 1980. Sure, there are the usual city condos and apartment buildings-but Eastlake also maintains a variety of dwellings complete with houseboats and eclectic townhomes. The area is somewhat of a hidden gem in Seattle but the residents here are happy with that! Many of them are highly educated and on average, this neighborhood’s residents are typically in their late 20s and early 30s with no children. As this area grows-the residents could mature with it and that could change in a few years, but most of them (a little over 60%) rent their dwellings.
