KirklandKirkland- There’s nothing quite like the Kirkland lakefront on a sunny summer Seattle day. Kirkland is just a short drive from both Bellevue and Seattle, and residents there like to keep away from the business of the city. On any given day, you will see plenty of residents out bike riding, running, walking, playing volleyball, or strolling with children, which means locals here are very active and many of them have families. More people own than rent in the Kirkland area and range from high income earning singles to middle aged couples to retired country club members. There is still plenty of land in a few areas of Kirkland so it’s likely that it will continue to be built upon in the near and far future.

Hector’s is a staple of Kirkland and the Mac & Cheese there is well worth the trip. If Mexican is your flavor, Milagro and Cactus are just a short walk from one another and both are delicious. Juanita Beach Park has a swimming area and other outdoor activities just a short drive north of downtown Kirkland.
