South Lake UnionSouth Lake Union: South Lake Union is arguably the most transformed neighborhood in Seattle. With Amazon forming its’ headquarters there, continued growth is inevitable! New restaurants are opening almost weekly, and local start up companies and technology powerhouses like Microsoft are increasingly gaining presence as well. Due to the close proximity to downtown and the aforementioned companies’ campuses, apartment and condo living is consistent in this area. That being said-many renters live here and it is more of a young professional’s area than a family focused neighborhood. Average age of the residents is between 20 and 40, so if you’re looking for a fun and thriving place to live without a family-South Lake Union might be the best spot for you!
